Vertical Screw Conveyor For Fodder
The vertical screw conveyor is a continuous conveying device that uses a forced feed screw to rotate and convey material to be lifted. LC-type vertical screw conveyor is suitable for powder, block, granular materials, such as flour, cereals, cement, fertilizer, ash, sand, stones, coal powder, lump coal and other materials. It is suitable for building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, machinery manufacturing, coal ash, tobacco, food, food, medicine and other industries. Due to the small flow area in the hub, the LC type vertical screw conveyor is not suitable for conveying materials that are easily degenerate, have high viscosity and are easy to be agglomerated.
The working principle and application range:
The vertical screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powdery, granular, non-viscous dry materials with a bulk density of ≤1.3t/m3, such as grain, oil bran, feed, chemical raw materials, cement, etc., at a vertical or large angle of inclination. The temperature of the material generally cannot exceed 80°C. The vertical screw conveyor is not suitable for conveying blocky and viscous materials.
Modelselection calculation:
1, the vertical screw conveyor can be calculated according to the following empirical formula Q = 8.007 · D · 3n (m3/n) Where: Q = delivery volume (m3 / n); D = diameter of the spiral (m); n = spiral Speed (r/min).
2. The motor power of vertical screw conveyor is calculated according to the following empirical formula: N=0.015258856Q·r·H (Kw) Where: N=motor power (Kw); Q=transport volume (m3/n); r= Material bulk density (t/m3); H = Distance from inlet to outlet (m).
3. Length Combination: The vertical screw conveyor height (order height) refers to the distance from the feed inlet to the discharge outlet, from 2.5 meters to 15 meters only, and 0.5 meters to a file, users can choose according to their needs.
4. Drive device: The vertical screw conveyor adopts the upper drive type. The motor is mounted on the head of the main machine and the power is transmitted through the belt to the main shaft, which drives the spiral operation.
Type 200 and Type 250 are equipped with a single drive type, with a maximum configured motor power of 15 kW; Model 315 is equipped with single and dual drive types. When the motor power is less than or equal to 15Kw, the single drive type is adopted. When the motor power is greater than 15Kw, the double drive type is adopted.
